Donations are taken after National Insurance but before tax, so the donations are cheaper for your employees. This also helps avoid any Gift Aid administration.
Once you've set up your scheme, employees can sign up to donate straight away. Each payday your payroll team takes the donation directly from their gross salary and sends it to your Payroll Giving Agency.
You can match or boost employee donations with tax-deductible contributions. These are a great incentive for people to sign up and provide additional income for charities. You can also pay the admin fee charged by the Payroll Giving Agency to allow 100% of your employees’ donations to be passed to us.
